Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information EntgenTech ("the app") collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store or have access to your actual password).
• Profile information: whatever you choose to enter about your background and skills, your country and (optionally) city or state, industry focus, capital, risk tolerance, and capital sourcing preference — used only to tailor the ideas, scores and reports the app generates for you.
• Idea history: the ideas you generate or submit, their scores, and anything you build from them — investor materials, deliverables, Deep Market Test reports and Credit Finder reports.
• Payment information: handled by NOWPayments, our crypto payment processor — we never see or store your wallet keys or payment credentials. Unlike some payment providers, NOWPayments is not a "merchant of record": we (not NOWPayments) are the legal seller for credit-pack purchases, so we retain records of what was purchased, by whom, and when, for accounting and support purposes.

How we use it

• To provide the service: generating and scoring ideas, building investor materials and deliverables, running Deep Market Tests and Credit Finder reports, and tracking your credit balance.
• To send account-related emails: email verification, password reset, and purchase confirmations.
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse of the service.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the app. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Anthropic — processes your profile and idea details to generate the AI responses (ideas, scores, investor materials, deliverables, and Deep Market Test and Credit Finder reports).
• Google (Gemini API) — runs the live web searches behind the Deep Market Test and Credit Finder. It receives your idea's title and summary, its target region and industry, and a description of the need it addresses. It does not receive your email address, your name, or your background.
• Resend — sends verification, password-reset, and transactional emails on our behalf.
• NOWPayments — processes credit-pack payments (crypto checkout). NOWPayments is not a merchant of record; we are the legal seller of record for these purchases.
• Cloudflare — hosts the app, our database, and file storage.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at [email protected] and we'll process the request.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, GDPR in the EU/UK or CCPA in California) — reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate them.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you logged in (a session cookie). We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Security

Passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text), and all traffic to and from the app is encrypted (HTTPS).

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
